California Transparency in Supply Chains Act
Jewelluxuries requires all of our suppliers to comply with applicable laws and regulations in the United States, as well as those of the country of manufacture or exportation. In line with the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act (SB 657), Jewelluxuries takes deliberate steps to address the risks of human trafficking and slavery within our direct supply chain, which includes both private-label and national brands. These efforts are outlined below.

Verification

Jewelluxuries’ supply chain and legal teams meet regularly, and as needed, to evaluate potential risks related to human trafficking and slavery in our global supply chains. During these assessments, we review whether our policies and internal procedures are effective and whether additional safeguards should be implemented.

Jewelluxuries adheres to the internationally recognized Kimberley Process (http://www.kimberleyprocess.com/en/about), which regulates the trade of rough diamonds mined after January 1, 2003. This framework is designed to prevent conflict diamonds from entering the legitimate supply chain. Since its launch, the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS) has been backed by both national and international legislation to certify the origin of uncut diamonds. Through this collaboration, industry participants share audit results and promote consistent, industry-wide compliance standards.

By participating in the Kimberley Process, Jewelluxuries gains greater visibility into labor recruitment practices and monitors the involvement of labor intermediaries in our supply chain.

Audits

Jewelluxuries enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy toward human trafficking and slavery. Reports of violations are thoroughly investigated. All diamond suppliers working with Jewelluxuries must undergo an annual certification process to confirm compliance with the Kimberley Process. Suppliers found in violation face corrective measures and, if necessary, termination of the business relationship.

Certification

Every supplier working with Jewelluxuries must adhere to our Vendor Standards, which strictly prohibit the use of human trafficking, forced labor, or slavery. Furthermore, suppliers must comply with the stricter of either local labor laws or international labor standards.

Jewelluxuries also issues periodic updates to suppliers regarding new regulations or amendments to existing laws. By accepting a purchase order, suppliers confirm their agreement to our Vendor Standards, including ensuring that diamonds provided are conflict-free and comply with relevant United Nations Resolutions concerning “Diamonds in Conflict.”

Internal Accountability

Jewelluxuries requires all employees to follow a strict Code of Conduct, which includes policies on identifying and preventing human trafficking. Any employee or contractor found violating these standards may face corrective measures or termination, depending on the severity and frequency of non-compliance. When compliance issues arise, we provide written notice and a specified timeframe for corrective action. While Jewelluxuries prioritizes sustainable remediation, we reserve the right to end a business relationship if violations persist.

Training

While Jewelluxuries does not operate a formal training program, all employees responsible for supply chain management and procurement are made aware of international standards concerning conflict-free sourcing. Should an employee discover that a supplier or contractor is not in compliance with our Vendor Standards, we respond immediately with a corrective action plan, or, if necessary, terminate the business relationship. Additionally, employees in critical supply chain roles receive enhanced training on identifying and addressing human trafficking and slavery risks.
